Clinical trials are research studies performed in people that are aimed at evaluating a medical, surgical, or behavioral intervention. They are the primary way that researchers find out if a new treatment, like a new drug or diet or medical device (for example, a pacemaker) is safe and effective in people. Often a clinical trial is used to learn if a new treatment is more effective and/or has less harmful side effects than the standard treatment.
We have partnered with TWO research facilities, ClinCloud and Oviedo Medical Research, to provide our physicians access to advanced clinical research trials that can be offered to their patients as alternate care options. These are care options that are otherwise not yet available to everyone.
Today, a partnership between Primary Partners, a network of independent providers, and ClinCloud Research, a Florida-based clinical research site, is modernizing the process of accessing advanced clinical trials. This partnership enables providers to seamlessly incorporate clinical trials as a treatment consideration to their patient’s comprehensive care plan.
This approach also provides patients easy access to advanced clinical trials through their preferred primary and specialty care providers. Patients receive guidance from their regular providers about participation in advanced trials to supplement their current care plans while maintaining their continuity of care.
ClinCloud is a private clinical research site established in 2017. ClinCloud was established to bring communities together to inspire medical discoveries for tomorrow's future through education and technological advances.
ClinCloud's team is comprised of some of the industries' most innovative leaders who collectively have over 40 years of clinical trial experience in patient recruitment and retention. The team is dedicated to filling the gap between the community and effective clinical trial enrollment. ClinCloud envisions this connecting space to eventually be a collaborative hub of patients and research sites, facilitating research education and trial enrollment.
